Circular discoloration can appear after suction and may take time to fade. The color or pattern should not be presented as a reliable map of toxins or a diagnosis of internal disease.
Mild local tenderness may occur. Protect the area and follow the center's written instructions rather than applying unverified products.
Escalate concerning changes
Increasing redness, heat, swelling, pus, fever, persistent bleeding, blistering, severe pain or feeling faint warrants prompt professional advice. Repeated wet cupping can also contribute to anemia in rare cases.
Take a dated photo for clinical follow-up if appropriate, but do not post identifiable treatment images without the client's explicit permission.
