Mental-health red flags in a Ruqiya setting
Recognize urgent risk and respond with calm supervision, professional referral and emergency help—not blame.

This article provides general education. Seek a qualified health professional for personal diagnosis or treatment, and use local emergency services for urgent danger.
Take risk seriously
Thoughts or plans of self-harm, threats to others, severe agitation, inability to care for basic needs, profound confusion or losing touch with reality require prompt professional assessment. A physical collapse, seizure or breathing difficulty may be a medical emergency.
Do not argue, shame, restrain casually or leave a high-risk person alone. Follow local emergency procedures and involve an appropriate trusted person when safe and lawful.
Support without diagnosing
A Raqi can listen calmly and encourage help without labeling the cause. Spiritual interpretation should never block medical investigation or evidence-based mental-health care.
Centers need written escalation contacts, staff training and confidential incident notes. Follow-up should confirm connection to appropriate care, not expose the person's story publicly.
